Is there parking and changing facilities at the studio?
The studio benefits from a private car parking area as well as adequate roadside parking. The studio also has modern male and female changing rooms with shower facilities.
Do I need to book in order to attend the sessions?
We run a no booking necessary policy, however we do recommend that you call or email us before you arrive if it’s the first time you are looking to take part in a particular session. All trial sessions are FREE of charge.
What do I do if the group sessions in the current timetable don’t suit my schedule?
Please call the studio and discuss your requirements as we have new and temporary classes and courses running continuously- so there may be a class waiting for you!
Do I need any Martial Arts experience to take part in a Kung Fu or Kickboxing Class?
We offer both Kung Fu and Kickboxing classes for absolute beginners. These sessions create a less intimidating environment for newcomers where you are able to learn and progress with people of a similar ability.
How much contact is involved in the Kung Fu and Kickboxing classes?
Contact sparring is an integral part of the kickboxing syllabus and is also practised in advanced kung fu classes. However all sparring is optional and you have the choice to participate in different types of sparring including light continuous, semi-contact points fighting and full contact.
What should I wear and do I need any special equipment for my first Kung Fu or Kickboxing Class?
We recommend you wear a t-shirt and jogging bottoms during your first sessions before we offer you a club uniform. Classes are carried out in bare feet and protective equipment is provided.
